Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon Leave One Dead, 10 Injured
Over the weekend, Israeli airstrikes targeted various locations in eastern and southern Lebanon, resulting in one fatality and 10 injuries.
In eastern Lebanon, one person was killed and two others were injured in a residential apartment attack in the town of Shatoura, Bekaa Valley. In southern Lebanon, five individuals were hurt, including one critically, when a strike hit a building near Tyre.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scenes to transport the injured to nearby hospitals. The Israeli aerial assaults continued in multiple towns, causing additional injuries and destruction.
These attacks come amidst ongoing tensions between Israeli forces and Hezbollah, with heightened aggression in Lebanon resulting in casualties and displacement of over 1.3 million people.
