He highlights the need to promote all energies and technologies that can ensure energy security, availability, and emissions reduction.
Al Ghais points out the interconnectedness of the oil industry and renewables, citing examples of how oil-derived products are essential for the production and maintenance of renewable infrastructure. He also underscores the fiscal support that oil and its derivatives provide for many countries, playing a crucial role in funding government budgets and supporting economic activities.
Moreover, OPEC Member Countries are actively investing in both hydrocarbons and renewables while working on reducing emissions through operational efficiencies and advanced technologies.
