King Mohammed VI names new walis, governors & ambassadors

King Mohammed VI Appoints New Governors, Directors Across Morocco

King Mohammed VI recently made several appointments in the central and regional administration of Morocco. This decision was in accordance with the constitutional procedures, with recommendations from the Head of Government and the Minister of Interior. The Royal Palace Spokesperson released a statement detailing the appointments of governors and prefects across different regions.

Key appointments include Mr. Mouaad Jamai as the Wali of the Fès-Meknès Region, Mr. Khatib El Hebil as the Wali of the Oriental Region, and Mr. Essaid Zniber as the Wali of the Drâa-Tafilalet Region. Additionally, the King appointed new directors for various departments including Local Authorities, Rural Affairs, Solidarity Fund against Catastrophic Events, and the Moroccan Agency for Medicines and Health Products.

These appointments signal a new phase in governance and administration, aiming to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in public service delivery across the country.
