Daniel Andrews, the former Victorian premier, has taken on a new role as the chairman of Orygen, a prominent mental health research organization in Australia.
Orygen is known for being the largest clinical research organization dedicated to youth mental health globally.
Andrews will lead Orygen for a three-year term. He expressed his pride in taking this role to address youth mental health challenges both in Australia and globally.
Orygen’s executive director, Professor Patrick McGorry, praised Andrews’ leadership qualities and strategic mindset that will benefit the organization’s mission to support youth mental health.
