Exploring International Relations: Azerbaijani Military Lawyers Visit Türkiye
Recently, a delegation of military lawyers from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan embarked on a fruitful working visit to Türkiye. Led by Justice Colonel Elchin Aliyev, the delegation engaged in insightful discussions with Deputy Minister of National Defense, Mr. Şuay Alpay.
The meeting focused on various aspects of international humanitarian law, the incorporation of legal norms into military operations, and the promotion of ethical values in times of armed conflict. Additionally, the Azerbaijani delegation participated in an event celebrating the academic achievements of officers at the Law Faculty of the Turkish National Defense Ministry.
As the ceremony concluded, Ş. Alpay extended congratulations to the Azerbaijani delegation in honor of the Day of Restoration of Independence on October 18. The highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates to the Azerbaijani Army’s servicemen and other graduates who successfully completed their education.
