11K North Korean troops set for combat in Ukraine by November 1. Budanov asserts.

In recent key developments on Oct. 18, it was reported that close to 11,000 North Korean troops are in Russia and will be “ready to fight” in Ukraine by Nov. 1. Ukrainian military intelligence head Kyrylo Budanov revealed this information, creating concerns about North Korea’s direct involvement in Russia’s war against Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky also mentioned that Russia plans to engage North Korean specialists in various branches of the military.

Moreover, Ukraine successfully liberated the village of Kruhliakivka in Kharkiv Oblast, crucial for the defense of Kupiansk, after driving out Russian soldiers. German, Netherlands, and Danish governments detailed new military equipment and aid packages to support Ukraine’s defense efforts. Additionally, Ukraine is enhancing its interceptor drones to counter Russian drone attacks, with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasizing the country’s leadership in drone innovation.

Furthermore, U.S. President Joe Biden stressed the importance of sustaining Western support for Ukraine during high-level talks with European leaders in Berlin to address Russia’s aggression.
