Israeli attacks have resulted in a high number of casualties in Gaza, with the Palestinian Health Ministry reporting a death toll of 42,344 since last year.
Despite calls for a cease-fire, Israel continues its offensive, leading to widespread displacement and humanitarian crises in Gaza.
Efforts to mediate a peace agreement have been unsuccessful due to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s refusal to halt the conflict.
Israel is also facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
