PM Shehbaz Sharif Credits Successful SCO Summit for Strengthening Pakistan’s Diplomatic Profile
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the successful hosting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Heads of Government meeting, recognizing it as a significant achievement for Pakistan on the diplomatic front. Speaking at a banquet in Islamabad for government allied parties’ senators, PM Shehbaz highlighted the enhanced international standing of Pakistan following the successful conclusion of the SCO summit.
He commended the collaborative effort of all relevant institutes in ensuring the success of the summit, acknowledging the crucial role played by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. PM Shehbaz expressed optimism about the country’s economic recovery and stability, attributing the achievement of 2025 targets ahead of schedule to the government’s prudent policies.
The prime minister emphasized the decline in inflation rates and the consistent increase in foreign remittances as indicators of the government’s success. He credited the unity and hard work of government allied parties for promoting economic stability and diplomatic successes, underscoring the collective efforts of all political parties and institutions in advancing national development.
