Palestine Condemns Israeli Military’s Separation of Northern Gaza
On Wednesday, Palestine condemned the Israeli military’s separation of northern Gaza Strip as a “war crime.” The Presidential spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, criticized Israel’s actions and labeled them as unacceptable and condemned.
Abu Rudeineh emphasized the need for an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. He denounced the Israeli military’s relentless assaults on Gaza and called for an end to the destruction in the Jabalia refugee camp.
Israel launched a military operation in northern Gaza to prevent Hamas regrouping, but Palestinians dispute this claim, stating that the attacks aim to force them to leave the area. The conflict has escalated, with more than 342 people killed and widespread destruction across the region.
Despite international warnings of a regional war, Israel expanded the conflict by launching a ground incursion into southern Lebanon. The situation remains tense as both sides continue to engage in deadly attacks.
