Pakistan sends aid to Gaza, Lebanon in war crisis

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan is actively providing humanitarian aid to the war-affected people of Gaza and Lebanon as per the directives of the Prime Minister.

The second consignment of aid, totaling approximately 100 tons of supplies including medicines, ready-to-eat meat, tents, tarpaulins, warm bedding, winter clothing, and powdered milk, was dispatched from Karachi to Lebanon in collaboration with Al-Khidmat Foundation.

The aid was sent via flight from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, to Beirut, Lebanon. A send-off ceremony was held at the airport which was attended by representatives from NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al-Khidmat Foundation, and local administration.

The attendees emphasized the urgent need for relief in the conflict-ridden regions and reiterated the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the affected populations. This marks Pakistan’s 12th aid shipment to Palestine and Lebanon, with the establishment of a “Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Gaza and Lebanon” announced to collect public donations for further aid.
