The Northern Elders acknowledge Tinubu’s aggressive approach as showing promising results, highlighting the recent visit by Minister of State for Defense, Mohammed Matawalle, to banditry epicenters in Sokoto State as a sign of the government’s commitment.
The group expresses confidence in Tinubu’s ability to address insecurity effectively and urges collaboration between northern governors and the federal government for lasting success against banditry.
They extend their support to Tinubu in his mission for peace and unity, commending Governor Ahmed Aliyu for his efforts and recognizing the sacrifices of military personnel in restoring security to once troubled areas.
The Northern Elders recommend extending on-the-spot visits to other states to boost military morale and operations in the region.
