North Korea Plans to Transform Border with South into ‘Eternal Fortress’

In response to provocations from Seoul, North Korea has declared the destruction of roads and rail lines as an “inevitable and legal response.” The border with South Korea is seen as an “eternal fortress” by Pyongyang, with reports confirming the destruction of key infrastructure along the border.

According to the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), North Korea’s forces destroyed sections of road and rail lines in an effort to completely separate from the South. The Defense Ministry representative stated that further measures will be taken to fortify the blocked southern border.

This escalation comes amidst tensions between the two nations, with North Korea viewing South Korea as an “absolutely hostile state.” The destruction of infrastructure is seen as a strategic move in response to provocations from Seoul.

As the situation continues to develop, more details are expected to emerge regarding North Korea’s actions and the implications for the region.
