New committee in Israel to connect Druze and Circassians to power grid.

Exciting news for the Druze and Circassian communities in Israel! A new committee is being established to connect these communities to the country’s power grid and legitimize unauthorized structures. This initiative, announced by the Prime Minister’s Office, aims to legally connect nearly 10,000 Druze homes to the electric system.

The committee will have the authority of a regional organization and will work towards legitimizing the status of most houses in Druze communities within the next five years. This plan not only ensures access to electricity but also strengthens the bond between these communities and the State of Israel.

Plan seeks to strengthen bond between communities

Yossi Shelly, Director-General of the PMO, emphasized the importance of the alliance between Israel and the Druze and Circassian communities. The proposed planning policy will provide a framework for future expansion and building plans, further enhancing the shared destiny between the communities.
