The Minister of Labor, Khaled Bakkar, recently met with the Regional Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO), Ruba Jaradat, to discuss collaboration on projects aimed at improving employment opportunities for Jordanians. Bakkar emphasized the government’s commitment to creating a favorable work environment and providing training for youth to seize job openings in the national economy.
Jaradat, in turn, highlighted the ILO’s dedication to enhancing its partnership with the ministry and the private sector in Jordan to promote decent work opportunities. She expressed interest in bringing ILO-supported programs to Jordan in the near future.
