Jimmy Kimmel took aim at Fox News in his recent monologue, mocking their praise of anchor Bret Baier’s interview with Kamala Harris. Kimmel sarcastically quipped, “Alright, save it for the post-show orgy, everybody! Come on now.” He suggested that the Fox News pundits’ glowing remarks may have been influenced by the fear of displeasing Donald Trump.
Kimmel offered his own take on Baier’s performance, suggesting that Baier may have been extra tough on Harris to earn favor with his colleagues. He contrasted Baier’s aggressive questioning with the softball treatment Trump received at a recent town hall event on Fox News.
Kimmel poked fun at the staged nature of the all-female audience at the Trump town hall, calling it “North Korea-level propaganda.” He highlighted how moderator Harris Faulkner allowed Trump to evade questions and even joked about Trump claiming to be the “father of IVF.”
In typical Kimmel fashion, he joked about Fox News accusing Democrats of eating babies and quipped about Trump’s paternity claims. Kimmel’s sharp wit and satirical commentary on Fox News made for an entertaining monologue that had audiences laughing.
