IRGC Chief Warns of Painful Response to Attacks on Iran

Major General Salami, the IRGC chief, delivered a powerful speech at the funeral of Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan, who was killed in Lebanon. Salami emphasized that the assassination attempts on key figures of the Axis of Resistance, including Nilforoushan, had only strengthened their resolve. He warned that any attack on Iran would be met with a strong and painful response.

Thousands of mourners gathered in Isfahan to pay their respects to Nilforoushan, carrying his coffin through the streets draped in the Iranian flag. The ceremony was filled with chants of “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” in solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon. Nilforoushan’s body was laid to rest in a ceremony that honored his sacrifice.

Iran’s retaliation against the Israeli regime, called Operation True Promise II, sent a clear message that any aggression would not go unanswered. The strike targeted key military and intelligence bases, dealing a severe blow to the occupying regime. The IRGC remains resolute in defending Iran and the interests of the resistance front.
