Iran reiterates warning to Israel as Tel Aviv escalates strikes in Lebanon

Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards commander issued a warning to Israel following a missile attack, while Israeli forces intensified their offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The fear of a wider conflict looms as Israel plans its retaliation for the Oct. 1 missile attack by Iran in response to Israeli airstrikes on Iranian-allied groups.

Iran’s Salami cautioned Israel against aggression, emphasizing Iran’s capability to penetrate Israeli defenses. U.S. Defense Secretary Austin engaged with Israeli defense officials to prevent a regional war. Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Araqchi met with Egyptian President el-Sissi to discuss conflict de-escalation.

Despite international efforts, Israel remains steadfast in its military campaigns, targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza. Recent strikes in Syria and Yemen have further heightened tensions. As violence continues, casualties rise, and displacement worsens in the conflict-ridden region.
