Iran’s Secret Weapons: More Powerful than Nuclear Arms
Former secretary of the Development and Armament Commission of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ebrahim Rostami, revealed that Iran possesses secret weapons far more potent than nuclear arms. As reported by Asriran agency, Rostami emphasized Iran’s “enormous secret capabilities” in the field of weapons, which have been independently developed and expanded over the past decade.

“We have weapons at our disposal that are more powerful than nuclear bombs. We use 100 percent of the potential and capabilities of our country, so today we have unlimited power,” stated Ebrahim Rostami.
Rostami mentioned that Iran’s possession of these secret weapons is classified, suggesting they may have been utilized in past tactical operations, such as the attack on oil tankers in the UAE port of Fujairah. This revelation comes amidst calls by Iranian MPs to reconsider the country’s non-nuclear doctrine in response to threats from Israel.
Consideration of a Shift in Policy
A group of Iranian MPs have requested amendments to Iran’s defense doctrine to potentially allow for the development of nuclear weapons. Discussions are also underway regarding Iran’s potential withdrawal from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, as a precautionary measure against Israeli missile threats. However, Iranian officials emphasize that such actions do not guarantee the pursuit of nuclear weapons.
