Hezbollah Shoots Down Second Israeli Drone, Attacks Israeli Locations – Iran News

Hezbollah, the resistance group in Lebanon, recently downed an Israeli Hermes 450 drone in solidarity with Palestinians and in defense of Lebanon amidst Israel’s intensified attacks in Gaza and Lebanon. This reconnaissance and surveillance drone, produced by Israel’s Elbit company, was seen “burning in the skies of occupied Palestine” after the operation.

Not only did Hezbollah shoot down a drone over southern Lebanon, but they also targeted multiple Israeli military positions, including a Merkava tank, with guided missiles. These operations, in support of Palestinians in Gaza and in defense of Lebanon, have been ongoing since last October.

Israel’s escalated attacks have resulted in over 42,300 Palestinian deaths and more than 2,300 Lebanese casualties. In response, Hezbollah condemned Israel’s use of internationally banned cluster bombs in southern Lebanon and Riyaq, a town in eastern Lebanon.

Hezbollah’s proactive defense of Lebanon and solidarity with Palestinians underscores their commitment to resisting Israeli aggression.
