France bans Israel from attending the Euronaval warfare trade show amidst growing tensions

Israel has been barred from participating in the upcoming Euronaval fair in Paris, with French concerns over Israel’s military actions in Gaza and Lebanon cited as the reason, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Although Israeli companies can attend, they are not permitted to exhibit their weaponry at the event, joining major players like BAE Systems and Naval Group.

The ban follows a previous ban at Eurosatory, showcasing the strained relationship between the two countries.

Israel’s Defense Minister denounced the ban as “a disgrace,” further escalating tensions between Israel and France.

‘Shame on them’

The ban underscores the ongoing conflict between French President Emmanuel Macron and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over arm sales to Israel.
