Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan al-Khatib highlights how Egypt’s economic reforms are attracting foreign investments, particularly in technology, renewable energy, and infrastructure industries.
During his visit to Brussels, Khatib met with executives from Euroclear group to discuss enhancing financial cooperation and expanding the group’s activities in Egypt.
Additionally, Khatib discussed investment opportunities with Giuseppe Stefani, General Director of Deme Hyport Energy, focusing on the development of green hydrogen and green ammonia production in Egypt.
The Ministry of Investment is dedicated to supporting this project, which is crucial for Egypt’s energy sector. Stefani expressed the company’s commitment to investing in Egypt, revealing a total investment of 24 billion euros for the project’s three phases.
