Exciting Updates from Azerbaijan-Japan Relations!
Special Representative Elchin Amirbayov recently visited Japan to discuss the future of relations between Azerbaijan and Japan, as well as the peace process between Baku and Yerevan. The upcoming COP29 conference was also on the agenda.
During his visit, Amirbayov met with key figures in Japan, including National Security Advisor Takeo Akiba and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Kiyoto Tsuji, to discuss the bilateral relations, challenges in the peace process, and the upcoming COP29 conference in Baku.
Additionally, he spoke at the Japan Forum of International Relations on the topic of “Historic chance for peace in South Caucasus: challenges and opportunities”, highlighting the potential for peace in the region.
