China and Tajikistan to Boost Cooperation Potential, Says Premier Li
Chinese Premier Li Qiang expressed readiness to work with Tajikistan to strengthen high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. During a meeting with Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda at the SCO summit, Li highlighted the importance of exploring collaborations in various sectors and expanding partnerships in emerging industries for mutual development.
Li emphasized aligning development strategies with Tajikistan, prioritizing high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. The focus will be on enhancing ties in trade, investment, mining, agriculture, new energy, and the digital economy. Enhancing connectivity and promoting cultural, educational, and tourism exchanges were also key points of discussion to drive development forward.
Rasulzoda commended China’s achievements and expressed eagerness to work closely to implement consensus reached by both countries. He emphasized the need for increased exchanges, particularly in trade, investment, e-commerce, energy, and green economies. Tajikistan also reiterated support for China’s vision of a shared future, pledging to promote regional and global peace and development through cooperation.
