Germany continues to provide strong support to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina through investments in facility and infrastructure projects, as well as the procurement of new uniforms, as highlighted during a recent meeting between the Defense Ministers of both countries.
Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zukan Helez, met with his German counterpart, Boris Pistorius, to discuss various joint projects, with a particular focus on the implementation of 11 agreed projects to support the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Helez revealed on his Facebook profile that Germany plans to support a total of 11 projects between 2024-2025, with a donation estimated at 7,240,000 euros. Additionally, the procurement of anti-aircraft defense systems was agreed upon during the meeting.
Germany’s contribution to infrastructural projects and the procurement of new uniforms demonstrates their continued commitment to supporting the reconstruction and modernization of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
