During a cabinet session in Tehran, Commander Nasirzadeh discussed the deployment of the THAAD missile defense system by the U.S. to Israel, labeling it as part of a psychological war. The system, produced by Lockheed Martin, aims to counter ballistic missiles within a range of 150 to 200 kilometers.
The U.S. move is perceived as a test against Iran’s new hypersonic missiles following recent attacks on Israeli bases in response to assassinations. While Israel has threatened retaliation, Iran remains prepared for any escalation.
Iran’s retaliation, known as Operation True Promise II, inflicted significant damage on Israeli military and intelligence assets. Amid rising tensions, Gaza and Lebanon have faced increased aggression, resulting in numerous casualties.
As geopolitical tensions escalate in the region, Iran stands firm in defending against external threats and upholding its security interests.
