Pule Mabe steps down from ANC NEC, denies corruption charges.

Former ANC national spokesperson Pule Mabe has made a shocking announcement, revealing that he has decided to step aside from the national executive committee after his recent court appearance for corruption charges. Mabe, along with six other accused, appeared in court following allegations of corruption related to a R27m tender awarded to Enviro-Mobi. The charges stem from a forensic report by the Special Investigating Unit into a tender issued by the Gauteng department of agriculture and rural development in 2016.

Despite denying any wrongdoing, Mabe emphasized that he had resigned from his directorship at Enviro-Mobi when he entered parliament. He expressed confidence in the investigative and prosecutorial teams, affirming his belief that the truth would prevail in due course. Mabe also dismissed the allegations as an attempt to persecute him for legitimate dealings with his wife’s business.

While the situation remains complex, Mabe is determined to see justice served and is hopeful that the legal process will reveal the facts in due time.
