Nationwide Power’s Park Yong-chul Elected in Incheon Ganghwa County By-election

In the recent Incheon Ganghwa County Mayor By-election held on October 16th, Park Yong-cheol, the candidate of the People Power Party, emerged victorious. According to the National Election Commission, Park secured 18,576 votes (50.97%), defeating Han Yeon-hee, the candidate of the Democratic Party, who received 15,351 votes (42.12%). Independent candidates Ahn Sang-soo (2,280 votes, 6.25%) and Kim Byung-yeon (235 votes, 0.64%) trailed behind. With this victory, Park Yong-cheol is now set to assume the position of Ganghwa County Mayor.
