The petition accuses officers of engaging in cattle rustling and harassment against the Fulani community, causing severe hardships.
MACBAN condemned the actions of the military officers, stating that their behavior reflects poorly on the integrity of the Nigerian military. The petition called for an immediate investigation, reassignment of the accused officer, and proper compensation for victims of military operations.
Signed by key members of MACBAN in Mangu LGA, the petition was also copied to high-ranking officials. The association highlighted past incidents where livestock was stolen by individuals in military uniforms, emphasizing the need for accountability and justice.
MACBAN is seeking justice for the affected community and demanding that illegal actions by military personnel be addressed promptly to prevent further mistreatment and oppression.
