Recent comments from Kremlin’s official spokesman Dmitry Peskov suggested that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s “victory plan” may actually be a disguised plan orchestrated by the United States to perpetuate conflict. Peskov mentioned that this alleged peace plan seems to be a guise for continued hostility.
Zelensky presented this plan in the Verkhovna Rada on October 16, outlining intentions for NATO membership and enhanced defense strategies, including the deployment of American military assets in Ukraine for potential strikes on Russian territory.
Peskov underlined that Ukraine must recognize the futility of its current policies and urged its leadership to “sober up” and comprehend the origins of the conflict. He also emphasized the importance of ensuring a suitable deterrent against Russian aggression to foster stability.
Furthermore, Zelensky’s proposal includes plans for joint economic agreements with the United States to safeguard critical resources and boost economic potential, alongside calls for strengthening NATO’s defense capabilities with the experience garnered from the ongoing conflict.
