Iran Warns Israel, Urges UN Action

Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a stern warning to the U.N. concerning potential Israeli retaliation for a recent missile attack. In response to the killing of key allies, Iran launched approximately 200 missiles at Israel, prompting Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to promise a “deadly” response.

Araghchi emphasized Iran’s readiness for a forceful reaction to any Israeli aggression, stressing the country’s commitment to regional peace and security. He also urged the U.N. to intervene and provide humanitarian aid to Lebanon and Gaza in light of recent hostilities.

Amidst diplomatic efforts to diffuse tensions, Araghchi embarked on a tour of various Middle Eastern countries, including Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey. These developments unfold against the backdrop of Israel’s ongoing conflict with Gaza and Lebanon.
