Some of the world’s wealthiest figures, including Miriam Adelson and Elon Musk, have channeled tens of millions of dollars into political groups to support Donald Trump’s White House bid, recent reports reveal.
Musk, Adelson, and Uihlein collectively donated around $220 million to back Trump’s candidacy, underscoring the significant role played by megadonors in the election.
Harris has raised $1 billion and received substantial support, as the race intensifies for control of Congress with large donations coming in from both sides.
Billionaires like Ike Perlmutter and Laura have also made significant contributions to Trump’s campaign, while FF PAC, supporting Harris, has been a major outside advertiser in the election.
