Brisbane police seize M in traffic stop at home

Police in Brisbane uncovered over $1 million in suspected drug money at a home in the city’s south during a drug trafficking investigation.

Alongside the cash, police discovered drug paraphernalia, a firearm, and ammunition at the residence. A 26-year-old man from NSW is facing charges related to drug trafficking, weapon possession, and dealing in proceeds of crime.

The accused is in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on October 18. Detective Senior Sergeant Justin Suffolk emphasized the police’s commitment to combat drug trafficking, stating that individuals involved will face consequences.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to disrupt illegal drug activities in the area.
