Aiyedatiwa to dualise Akungba road and build overhead bridge

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has vowed to address the frequent accidents on the major road in Akungba Akoko by dualising the road and constructing an overhead bridge for pedestrians. This pledge was made during an engagement with market women and youths in Akoko North East LGA.

Assuring the locals that the barricades on the road will remain, the governor explained that plans are in place to begin the dualisation from Ikare Akoko to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko. Aiyedatiwa, alongside Deputy Governor Dr Olayide Adelami, kicked off the Northern senatorial district leg of the APC’s governorship campaign in Ikare Akoko.

During his address, the Governor urged the people to continue supporting the APC for the upcoming election. He highlighted the administration’s achievements in various sectors and emphasized the importance of securing the future for continued progress. Deputy Governor Adelami and other party chieftains praised Governor Aiyedatiwa for his commitment to development, urging a vote for continuity on November 16.

Abiola Makinde, campaign Director-General, commended the governor for his leadership and dedication to advancing the state’s development. The event showcased strong support for Aiyedatiwa’s administration and his vision for a better Ondo State.
