ActionSA unveils Instagram-like government with GNU tracker

ActionSA national chairperson Michael Beaumont criticized the government of national unity (GNU) for prioritizing social media announcements over actual governance. Despite President Cyril Ramaphosa expressing confidence in the country’s direction under the GNU, Beaumont labeled it an “Instagram government” that lacks substance in policy and legislative reform.

In response, ActionSA launched a “GNU tracker” platform to monitor government performance and hold them accountable. Beaumont questioned the effectiveness of the government’s efforts, citing the lack of arrests or investigations in combating construction mafias and addressing corruption.

Beaumont emphasized the need for tangible results rather than just empty promises and social media posts. With the launch of the GNU tracker, ActionSA aims to provide transparency and keep the government in check.

It is evident that ActionSA is determined to hold the government accountable and ensure that they fulfill their promises to the South African people.
