UAE finances African mercenaries in Gaza against Israeli occupation

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is reportedly funding the recruitment of mercenaries from African countries to fight alongside the Israeli occupation army in its ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon. Diplomatic sources have revealed that the UAE is focusing its efforts on recruiting mercenaries from Ethiopia, with hundreds already deployed to fight for the Israeli army.

Abu Dhabi is said to be leveraging its close ties with the Ethiopian government to bolster the Israeli occupation by bringing in mercenaries from various countries in the Horn of Africa. The UAE is strategically aligned with Israel, providing support programs and recruiting mercenaries in secret.

The UAE views Israel’s wars in Gaza and Lebanon as a shared strategic interest and actively encourages Tel Aviv to continue its fight against Palestinian Hamas and Lebanese Hezbollah. The Israeli occupation regularly employs mercenaries from private military companies like “Raven” and “Global CST”, with financial backing from the UAE.

Since the Israeli war on Gaza began in October 7, 2023, over 700 Israeli officers and soldiers have lost their lives. The collaboration between the UAE, African mercenaries, and the Israeli army highlights the complex dynamics of warfare and foreign involvement in the region.
