Good News! Petrol Prices Remain Stable in Pakistan
The federal government of Pakistan has announced that the price of petrol will remain unchanged at Rs247.03 per liter. However, the price of High-speed diesel has increased by Rs5 per liter, now priced at Rs251.29 per liter. On the bright side, the prices of light diesel and Kerosene oil have not changed.
Earlier reports suggested an impending increase in petroleum prices due to global market trends. It was anticipated that petrol and high-speed diesel prices would increase by Rs5.50 and Rs13 per liter, respectively, starting October 16. Additionally, the government was also expected to raise the profit margins for oil companies and petrol dealers, aiming to increase their margins to Rs9.22 and Rs10.04 per liter, respectively.
This decision comes as a relief to the masses, as the stable petrol prices will have a positive impact on the overall cost of living in Pakistan.
