Kim Yo Jong of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) stated that the DPRK possesses concrete evidence implicating the South Korean military in this hostile act of violating their sovereignty.
Kim Jong Un, the general secretary of the WPK, also chaired a meeting to discuss national defense and security amidst escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula. The DPRK Foreign Ministry had earlier accused South Korea of sending drones over their capital city, a claim that was promptly denied by the South Korean military.
