Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation is set to launch a new project that will allow citizens to digitally enroll for military duty through the Diia app, the country’s e-government platform. The initiative, as per a governmental decree, will be open to citizens aged 18 to 55 with a taxpayer registration number, not currently serving in the Armed Forces.
Participants will choose a military unit, submit an application for duty via the Diia portal, and self-declare their fitness without a medical or psychiatric examination. The Digital Recruiting experiment, lasting two years, aims to streamline the enlistment process and leverage technology for recruitment.
This innovative project marks a significant step in modernizing Ukraine’s military recruitment system. It’s a bold move towards efficiency and accessibility, harnessing digital tools to enhance the enlistment process. Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking development in Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation.
