Israel Increases Attacks on Jabalia, Dozens Dead in Gaza

Israeli forces have intensified their siege on Jabalia, a refugee camp in northern Gaza, resulting in the deaths of seven people and prompting a new wave of displacement. For the past 11 days, Jabalia has been under a brutal military offensive, with tanks deployed in nearby towns.

Jabalia, one of the eight historical refugee camps in Gaza, witnessed seven Palestinians, including children, being killed by the invading army. The Civil Defense reported victims trapped under rubble, hampering rescue efforts due to ongoing bombardments. The violence also continues in other parts of Gaza, with a rising death toll and many people missing.

The United Nations’ human rights office expressed deep concerns over the situation, warning of a potential forced transfer of the civilian population. The death toll from the Israeli aggression has climbed to over 42,000 martyrs and 99,000 injured since the conflict began on October 7.
