Iran Climbs to 20th in Global ISO Ranking

Iran Press/ Iran news: Mahdi Eslam Panah announced during a ceremony at the Islamic Summit Conference Hall the significant progress made by the organization over the past 35 months. These advancements include promoting youth leadership, gender equality, digitalization, and transparency through innovative governance strategies. As a result, the organization has gained membership in 702 specialized committees and actively participated in international standardization processes.

Iran has also enhanced its global presence in standards, with certifications receiving international recognition. Achievements such as mandatory product standardization and improvements in safety protocols have elevated the organization’s reputation. Eslam Panah highlighted the pivotal role of the private sector in maintaining quality standards, emphasizing the need for collaboration with business associations and chambers of commerce.

He called upon the government to strengthen standardization laws, increase resources, and support talent recruitment to further enhance quality control efforts. Despite limited resources, the organization continues to excel in promoting standards and quality, showcasing exemplary performance in the standardization sector.
