Investment and Foreign Trade Minister Hassan al-Khatib discussed investment opportunities with Chairman PS Jayaraman from India’s TCI Sanmar Chemicals.

TCI Sanmar is a leading producer of Caustic Soda, PVC, and Calcium Chloride Granules in the MENA region, known for its advanced technology.

Al-Khatib assured the delegation of providing support and incentives to both local and foreign investors in Egypt, emphasizing efforts to streamline business procedures and resolve operational challenges.

The meeting focused on TCI Sanmar’s current projects in Egypt and its plans to invest over $300 million in expanding production capacity, including potentially establishing a sea dock in Port Said.

Jayaraman praised the Egyptian government’s assistance, inviting the minister to visit their factory in Port Said governorate.
