Impact of Axis of Resistance on Middle East

The Evolution of the Axis of Resistance: Uniting in Support of Palestinian Resistance

The recent escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has brought international attention to the longstanding solidarity and cooperation within the Axis of Resistance. This coalition, comprising Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Ansar Allah, and various Iraqi forces, has emerged as a powerful force in the Middle East.

Despite facing tensions and conflicts over the years, the Axis has remained united in its support for the Palestinian resistance. With Iran launching a massive missile strike on Israel in response to assassinations of key figures, the convergence of regional conflicts into a unified resistance has been evident.

The Axis’s historical roots can be traced back to the Iranian revolution in 1979, which centred Palestine as a unifying cause for the ummah. The interconnected struggles for social justice and liberation have solidified this coalition, defying expectations of its collapse.

Israel’s once swift wars have now faced resistance, with the Axis evolving into an influential force challenging Israeli dominance. The Axis’s ability to sustain itself amidst diverse actors and conflicts underscores the enduring power of Palestinian resistance as a global justice issue.
