China and Vietnam emphasized the importance of resolving differences through friendly consultation during a meeting between Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Premier Li urged both countries to maintain friendly communication, handle disputes appropriately, and enhance maritime cooperation. He expressed China’s support for Vietnam’s national development path and proposed aligning development strategies and cooperation initiatives.
