Armenia seeks closer ties with Kazakhstan, Khachaturyan informs Tokayev

During a meeting with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of maximizing cooperation potential between Armenia and Kazakhstan. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Friendship and Cooperation agreement between the two countries, President Khachaturyan highlighted the strong strategic partnership and mutual support in various sectors.

President Khachaturyan discussed the need for further development in areas like agriculture, high technologies, and tourism to enhance bilateral trade. He presented the Crossroads of Peace project, aiming to improve regional connectivity and promote peace and stability.

He also praised the Armenian Culture Days events in Kazakhstan for fostering closer ties between the two nations. Both governments are working towards implementing joint initiatives to strengthen cooperation and build a brighter future for both countries.
