Jewish Voice for Peace protesters shut down Wall Street to demand an immediate halt of arms to Israel, accusing the US of serving imperialist interests in the region.
Over 500 Jewish anti-Zionist protesters in New York chained themselves to the New York Stock Exchange fence, chanting “Let Gaza live, stop arming Israel,” in their call for an arms embargo. Dressed in red shirts with messages opposing arming Israel, the protesters highlighted the US’s financial motives in supporting Israel.

The protesters defended their stance, rejecting the myth that US funding to Israel is for Jewish safety. Organized by Jewish Voice for Peace, the protest drew attention to the ongoing Gaza genocide, insisting there can be no “business as usual” during such atrocities.
Standing in Solidarity
As the Gaza genocide continues, Jewish Voice for Peace remains a prominent voice in advocating for Palestinian rights, staging protests and campaigns across US campuses alongside various groups. The movement aims to raise awareness and amplify the calls for justice for Palestinians in the face of international condemnation toward Israel’s actions.
Humanitarian Crisis Unfolds
Amid the ongoing crisis in Gaza, Palestinian organizations report a devastating toll on civilians, especially women and children. The Israeli offensive has resulted in extensive casualties and displacement, leading to mass exodus and acute famine in the region. The protests seek to shed light on these human rights violations and demand accountability for the atrocities committed.
