Zelenskyy claims North Korea sent soldiers to aid Russia in Ukraine war

Ukraine’s President Calls for Stronger Response to Russia’s Deepening Alliances

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has raised concerns about North Korea’s involvement in assisting Russia in its invasion of Ukraine. He emphasized that the alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea is evolving beyond just weapons transfer to include sending soldiers to support the occupying forces.

Zelenskyy urged Ukraine and its allies to adapt their strategies in response to these deepening alliances and requested increased military support to prevent a larger conflict. Despite his efforts to secure approval for the use of longer-range missiles for strategic strikes, Zelenskyy’s appeals have faced resistance.

The situation has drawn attention from Western leaders, with President Joe Biden expected to address the crisis in Ukraine during his upcoming visit to Germany. South Korea’s Minister of National Defense also expressed concerns over North Korea’s potential involvement in the conflict.

As tensions escalate, it is crucial for international cooperation to strengthen and prevent further escalation of the war in Ukraine.
