UN Expert Criticizes ‘Massacre’ in Gaza’s Jabalia Refugee Camp – Iran News

Recent events in Gaza, specifically in the Jabalia refugee camp, have sparked outrage and condemnation worldwide. The genocidal offensive by Israeli forces has led to hundreds of Palestinian deaths and severe shortages of basic supplies. UN special rapporteur Francesca Albanese described the situation as a massacre, with civilians being killed in groups or individually in a cruel and sadistic manner.

Despite calls for intervention, the attacks, supported by Western countries, continue unabated. The densely populated Jabalia camp, home to 400,000 Palestinians, has been under siege for nine days, with residents trapped and cut off from essential resources.

The ongoing violence has been labeled as systematic mass slaughter, with over 200 casualties reported. The Deputy Permanent Observer of Palestine to the UN, Majed Bamya, condemned Israel’s actions as genocidal. The situation has been exacerbated by the blockade of food supplies, leading to further humanitarian crisis.

As the conflict escalates, the international community must take action to prevent further bloodshed and alleviate the suffering of those trapped in Gaza.
