UK imposes new sanctions on Iran: report

The UK government has recently imposed sanctions on Iranian individuals and entities in response to Iran’s attack on Israel. This move follows similar actions taken by the US and EU against Iran.

The sanctions target senior figures in the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, Iran’s Air Force, and the IRGC Intelligence Organizations. Additionally, the Farzanegan Propulsion Systems Design Bureau (FPSDB) and the Iranian Space Agency have been designated in the package.

FPSDB is known for designing parts used in cruise missiles, while the Iranian Space Agency develops technologies related to ballistic missile development. The sanctions will result in a travel ban and asset freeze for the affected individuals, including Abdolrahim Mousavi and Mohammad-Hossein Dadras.

These measures are part of the ongoing international response to Iran’s aggressive actions and aim to deter further hostilities in the region.
