A new Minister for Investment has been appointed to lead a strengthened Office for Investment as part of a Whitehall ‘shake up’ to enhance the government’s collaboration with businesses and investors. Poppy Gustafsson OBE, former CEO of Darktrace, will now oversee efforts to attract more investment into the UK.

The appointment aligns with the upcoming International Investment Summit, where global business leaders and government officials will strategize ways to boost the UK’s growth agenda.
