KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to Discuss Pashtun Jirga Demands in Assembly
Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has decided to brief the provincial assembly on the recent Pashtun Jirga and discuss the demands raised during the assembly session. He expressed gratitude for the peaceful conclusion of the Jirga and emphasized the government’s efforts to provide the best facilities to participants in a short span of time.
Gandapur mentioned that consultations were held with representatives of all tribes and political parties to address the issues facing Pashtuns. He assured that he would work towards implementing the suggestions put forth in the Jirga within the legal framework. Additionally, any demands beyond the provincial government’s authority would be escalated to the federal authorities.
The CM highlighted the importance of addressing public grievances and pledged to engage with all members of the assembly for potential solutions. The recent Jirga, attended by various political leaders including the Interior Minister, emphasized the collective commitment to peace in the region.
